Supermarket Campaigning: A Constitutional right?

Can I have your vote with that butter?
A political candidate in Massachusetts has filed a lawsuit against a supermarket that refused him permission to set up a table on their property to campaign. And that state's Supreme Court will hear the case.
The AP story from Boston says the candidate is relying on a lower state court ruling from the 1980's that affirmed a candidate's right to campaigning in common areas of shopping malls, which they equated with town squares.
So candidates should be guaranteed access to privately owned commercial properties to campaign? What's next...residences? Your front bedroom? Your backyard during a family barbecue?
