Lower Manhattan from the Empire State Building, Early 1980's. By Tim Lennox |
Gallup reports the percentage of American who say terrorism is the top problem facing the country jumped from less than half a per cent to 46% after the attacks in 2001. It was back down to 1% this July, till ISIS (or ISIL) beheaded two American journalists. That caused an increase...to 4%.
The number one problem in the most recent poll? 18% cite a dissatisfaction with government.
Will that result in a massive vote against incumbents in Washington in November?
Not a chance.
