Another one of those fights between a Satellite TV Company and a TV Network is threatening to black-out the SEC Championship game...for viewers in some cities. It's DISH vs CBS.
Atlanta---where the game will be played this afternoon---is one of those cities...but none of the blocked cities are in Alabama. You can watch the game this afternoon at 3:00 PM on CBS 8 in Montgomery.
As CBS explains, it all comes down to money, the fees paid by a company to resell network programs:
And viewers just want to see the game.
