"Virtual" Traffic Lights???

     CNN reports a company has developed lights that are only activated when two cars approach an intersection. 
     I suspect it will be a VERY long time before these replace physical stop lights, since every car in existence would have to be equipped to receive the signals in order for it to work as designed.
     Still, a sign of things to come.
