Why I Hate Online Polls

I got this email today:

"Please take 5 seconds today to take this POLL and VOTE NO to repealing our AL College and Career Ready Standards for math & English. Alabama's children deserve the opportunity to graduate from any of our schools prepared for life - whether they are beginning college or a career. If you are an Alabama educator, take an extra minute to share what's happening in your classroom in the comments section.

The above came from a special interest group that favors common core, trying to gets its members to influecne one of those polls,

They are meaningless.

Don't believe me...talk with any pollster about the science of polling.
