The Cost Of Climate Change in Alabama

As you might expect, the biggest cost will be on the coast.

A new report by the Center for Climate Integrity shows how expensive it will be for coastal states and cities...like Alabama and Mobile...to block rising sea levels caused by climate change.
Samples: City of Mobile: $717.7 Million
                Fairhope       $  45.2 Million*

The biggest portion of that expense is seawalls. Alabama has 599 miles of coast that would need seawalls!

*and the Fairhope annual budget is  $24.5 Million.
