UPDATE: She was back on the air last night.
After one month anchoring The CBS Evening News, she's off for two weeks?
Seems to me, the network should make it clear she is on vacation, or moving to Washington, or writing her bio, or whatever.
But I haven't heard a word. The network has had a rotating series of fill-ins with no word of when or if she will be back.
The ratings for her much hyped first Network News broadcast on July 15 were lower than her predecessor, Jeff Glor, who got lower ratings than his predecessor--- Scott Pelley.
I have been almost a lifelong CBS News fan, and it pains me to see them going through this morass,
There is something wrong and they had better discover what it is, and soon!
