It appears there will be a runoff in the mayor election in Montgomery.
The latest results show neither of the top two candidates has 50 of the vote + one vote---the threshold for winning outright.
Barring any sudden change, David Woods will go up against Steven Reed, who at last report stood like this:
REED 18,397 (43%)
WOODS 9,962 (23%)
It is Reed's race to lose.
Biggest surprise: Montgomery County Commission Chair Elton Dean and former Congressman Artur Davis each got only 4% of the vote.
