Liquidation sales are expected to begin this week at the Sears in Alabama's largest mall---the Riverchase Galleria---and at 20 other locations in 15 states, and five Kmarts in three states and Puerto Rico. The stores will close in later October.
The Riverchase location was the only full-sized Sears remaining in Alabama. The Montgomery store closed two years ago, as I wrote about in a post earlier. (Despite my earnest letter, there has been no reply). Shocking!
