The
team working to remove the capsized car-carrier ship Golden Ray from the
waters off the port of Brunswick Georgia have removed the propeller and
the rudder:
The pieces have been "donated" to Georgia:
Still inside the ship: some 4,000 brand new cars of unclear manufacture.

"The removal of approximately 130 tons of weight will help reduce stresses to the hull of the wreck."
"Portions of the ship that were removed are being donated to the State of Georgia for use as artificial reefs in areas designated by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources."
