And as for Alabama?
None of the companies is headquartered in the state. And a search of the list for "Alabama" also comes up with zero returns.
Let's see...what could the cause be?
- Alabama is a "right to work"--i.e. anti-union State?
- Some of the 100 companies that are headquartered in Alabama more or less have to be here (think Alabama Power and Spire Natural Gas)?

- We're still paying The "Wallace Tax". About the only thing people in other states think of when you say "Alabama" is football or the civil rights era segregation and other Jim Crow laws used to continue oppression of minorities?
