Fine, the Republican Kentucky Congressman who forced some members to come back to Washington to vote in person on the stimulus legislation is being pummeled on from both sides...a pox on him!!!But may I ask why they can't keep a record of how every member votes on every non-celebratory issues (and this was a $2-TRILLION dollar decision, after all!)
Now every member can tell his or her constituents they voted as they wanted since it was a voice vote.
I want to know!!!!
And while I'm on a Friday rant...if the president wants to continue his daily "news" conferences on every TV network, somebody please tell him it has to be NON political. At least once on Thursday he called his Democratic opponent by his pet slur-name. At least one radio station took the bold step of rejecting the live broadcast and covering it the same way they would any other daily event.
