As previously reported on this website, there were two shooting deaths recently at an apartment complex called "Serenity Townhomes" in Montgomery.
Now the owners have reportedly sold the complex for twice what they paid for it five years ago. AL.COM reports:
Serenity Townhomes, a 192-unit multifamily community located on Park Towne Way, was the final asset in Elevation’s Real Property Fund V. The name of the buyer was not disclosed.
Elevation purchased Serenity Townhomes in 2015 for $3.45 million. During that time, after a revitalization effort which included the apartments, clubhouse, exterior and amenities, the complex went from 40 percent occupancy to 92 percent. Those renovations included a tutoring room for school age children to help out a local volunteer group, the company said.
