The only County* in Alabama shown as having no broadband service at all: Perry County.
You can see a newly released map showing the un-served areas HERE
The population of Perry County is just 10,591 (that may change when the 2020 census info is released).
The county unemployment rate is 14.1%, among the highest in the state.
Note: this advisory is printed with the map:
ADECA makes no representation as to the accuracy of the data (or to its use) used to create this map; therefore, applicants are encouraged to verify data from the map.
(UPDATE: * It appears Wilcox County is also without any broadband service...though one small part is blocked on the map so I can't say for sure. Wilcox has a slightly larger population than Perry County, and a larger--- 14.8%--- unemployment rate.
