Fake News? What About Books for Display?

 

I read books.

I own books.

I have shelves filled with books.

But you too can have shelves filled with books purely as decoration. 

No need to actually read them (though they are actual books), just buy them by color (by the foot!) and make it look like you own, and, by implication, read books.

They come from a company that will sell you books for display purposes.

You can even select the "books" in your "library" by color or apparent age.

No reading required (though that is an option if you get bored.)

The perfect answer for people forced into pandemic Zoom calls who have managed to go through life without collecting any books.

Booth and Williams is the company. and they will even rent books to you, if you want only the temporary look of a well-read person.

 

At first I thought it was a farce...and thought the books might be covers only, but these are actual books, perhaps remainders from the $1 counter at the chain stores?
